When children are starting school for the first time into our Reception classes the Local Authority deal with admissions.

The following admission criteria are applied-

  1. Children in the care of, or provided with accommodation by a local authority and children who were looked after, but ceased to be so because they were adopted (or became subject to a residence order or special guardianship order).
  2. Children living in the priority area who have a brother or sister at the school at the time of admission.
  3. Children living in the priority area who have a brother or sister at the partner junior school (or primary school) at the time of admission.
  4. Other children living in the priority area.
  5. Children from outside the priority area who have a brother or sister at the school at the time of admission.
  6. Children from outside the priority area who have a brother or sister at the partner junior school (or primary school) at the time of admission.
  7. Other children from outside the priority area.

Once children have started school the Local Authority also deal with admissions. Please telephone 01926 410410 and ask for admissions. Parents are welcome to make an appointment to visit the school to have a look round if we have spaces. Please telephone the school office – 01788 572340 if you wish to make an appointment.

We now have a standard number of 90 as Paddox Primary School has three classes across the school.

The priority area for Paddox School is defined as:

The area bounded by and including Hillmorton Road (even numbers) from its junction with Whitehall Road to its junction with Kingsley Avenue, Langton Road, Westgate Road, Stanley Road and Shenstone Avenue; all houses on Hillmorton Road to its junction with Ashlawn Road; Ashlawn Road westwards to its junction with Barby Road; and a line drawn from here to the junction of Whitehall Road and Hillmorton Road. Area includes Beech Court and Paddox Close.
