When children are starting school for the first time into our Reception classes the Local Authority deal with admissions.

The following admission criteria are applied-

(a) Children in the care of, or provided with accommodation by, a local authority (under Section 22 of the Children Act).

(b) Children living in the priority area of the school who have a brother or sister at the school at the time of admission.

(c) Other children living within the priority area of the school.

(d) Children living outside the priority area of the school that have a brother or sister at the school at the time of admission.

(e) Other children living outside the priority area of the school.

Once children have started school the school deals with admissions. Pease telephone the school office – 01788 572340 if you wish to enquire about spare places. Parents are welcome to make an appointment to visit the school to have a look round.

We have a standard number of 60 as Paddox Primary School has two classes in each in each Year group.

The priority area for Paddox School is defined as:

The area bounded by and including Hillmorton Road (even numbers) from its junction with Whitehall Road to its junction with Kingsley Avenue, Langton Road, Westgate Road, Stanley Road and Shenstone Avenue; all house on Hillmorton Road to its junction with Ashlawn Road; Ashlawn Road westwards to its junction with Barby Road; and a line drawn from here to the junction of Whitehall Road and Hillmorton Road. Area includes Beech court and Paddox Close.
