As an extended school Paddox Primary School provides a range of services and activities, often beyond the school day to help meet the needs of children, their families and the wider community.
The government has made a commitment that by 2010 every school will provide access to the following services:
- A varied menu of activities
- Access to quality childcare through primary schools
- Community access to facilities
- Swift and easy access to specialised support
- Parenting support
Each Cluster of schools across Rugby has their own Extended Services Cluster Coordinator (ESCC), who will work with the local authority, other schools and many organisations to offer access to a wide range of services and activities which support and motivate children and young people to achieve their full potential. Jo Fricker is responsible for the Hillmorton Cluster of schools she can be contacted via email frickerj@ashlawn.org.uk or mobile 07964293236.
Paddox Primary School and the other Schools in the Hillmorton Cluster are working hard to ensure that all parents and children have access to Extended Services.
