PADDOX PRIMARY SCHOOL NEWSLETTER
1st April 2009
Red Nose Day – The final total raised for Comic Relief was £706. This was a tremendous total considering we kept it quite ‘low key’ this year- or so we thought!
Well done to everyone who took part.
Netball – Congratulations to the netball team who came runners up in this year’s tournament. They go forward to represent the Rugby area at a tournament in Coventry this week.
Cheerleading – The Year 4 cheerleading class which started after school last term, are entering a competition on Wednesday. This is something new for our school, so good luck to them.
Staff - Mrs Semmence will be starting her maternity leave on Friday. Miss Heathfield will be taking her class next term.
Mrs Olner is now fully recovered and we are pleased that she will be returning after Easter.
Last day of term – This Friday will be ‘toy day’. As usual the children may bring in a favourite game that can be played with other children. Please do not send in electronic or expensive games.
