Red Nose Day – Year 5 are organising a cake sale for the Oak site for Comic Relief on Friday 13th March. Cakes will cost 20p. The Acorn site will be selling CD’s of the comic relief song, sung by the Acorn site children. You will get a separate letter about this. It will not be a non-uniform day.
11+ Results – This year 17 children have been offered places at grammar schools’ of their choice.
Sports Results - Congratulations to our Sportshall Team who won the eastern area final. They will now go on to compete in the greater Warwickshire final later in the year.
Cwik Cricket – Congratulations to the children who represented Paddox in this tournament at the Coventry Connexion, We were runners up. This is only the second year that we have entered this competition.
Parent-Teacher Interviews – Slips giving times for the parent/teacher interviews later this term, will be sent home next Wednesday.
School Times – Can I remind parents that school starts at 8.55 a.m. on both sites. Please make sure that your child is in the playground for
that time. Staff are on duty from 8.45 a.m. Children should not be on the school site before that time.
Parking – Police have made regular patrols and they have spoken to a number of parents about parking offences outside school. They have asked me to inform you that there will be zero tolerance and tickets will be issued for parking offences.
Book Fair – We will be having a book fair after school next week from Monday to Thursday on both sites. Please come along with your child and look at the range of books on offer. Children have been given a leaflet, so if you are not able to come along with your child and wish to buy a book, please complete the order form and send it in with the money, with your child.
