Christmas Concerts – The money raised from our charity collections at the end of the concerts this year will be shared between the Acorn Children’s Hospice and the Goodwill Children’s Home in India.

Raffle tickets for the hampers will be on sale at the Christmas performances and the raffle will be drawn on Thursday after the last performance.

Photographs – Parents who wish to video the performances must sit at the back of the hall.  If you would like to take photographs of your child, there will be an opportunity at the end of the performance.  Camera phones must not be used.

Can I remind parents to remain seated at all times during the performances, to comply with fire regulations and please switch off mobile phones.  Children under the age of 4 are not allowed at any performances.

There are still tickets available for the following performances :-
                   KS1 Tuesday morning at 9.30 a.m.
                   KS2 Wednesday 5.30 p.m.  and  Thursday 9.30 a.m.

Christmas Parties – Children on the Acorn site will have a party at lunchtime on Thursday 17th December.  This will be instead of their normal dinner.

Please send the following party food into school:-
          2C girls – squash (undiluted)                     2C boys – crisps
          2S  - sausage rolls/savouries (no nuts)
          1W & 1T – sandwiches                               RM & RP – cakes

Acorn site children may come to school dressed in their party clothes, but please bear in mind they will be going outside to play, so no skimpy tops etc. please.

Oak site - Year groups are organising their own activities and letters will be sent home.  All oak site children are to wear school uniform in the morning but they can bring party clothes to change into after lunch.  This is because Key Stage 2 children have a concert performance on Thursday morning.

Christmas Dinner – If your child has booked a Christmas dinner on Wednesday, please don’t forget to send in the money (£1.70) on Monday if you haven’t already done so.

Games Day – On Friday 18th December the children may bring a game from home to play with their friends.  Please do not send in electronic or expensive games.

School finishes on Friday 18th December at normal times.  Have a lovely Christmas and the staff look forward to seeing the children back on Tuesday 5th January.

Cluster Community Newsletter  - Pupils from seven local schools have worked together to produce this and it is now available on our school website.  Find out what young people feel about their local area, get ideas for keeping busy over the holiday, read up on what school councils are doing and learn more about our neighbours.

The Woolpack – Our knitting club are getting desperately short of wool.  If you have any that is surplus to requirements they would be very grateful for it.  Please send it into the office.
