11+ Results
There are 17 children who have been selected for Grammar School places this year in Year 6. This represents 29% of the year group.
School Web Site
We have started updating our school website. Copies of the latest newsletter are also pasted there, so if you cannot find your paper copy you can read your newsletter on the website. Our web address is www.paddoxprimary.com.
Sports Update
We had a very successful end of term in different sporting events. We finished second in the T ag Rugby tournament. We won the Town Cup for Football after beating Dunchurch 2-1, in a very exciting final, that went into extra time. We won the Sportshall Athletics final, finishing well ahead of the other teams and now represent Rugby in the Count Final this Thursday.
Bingo Evening/Easter Egg Competition
Thank you to everybody who helped with and attended the Bingo evening. This raised £190 and the Easter Egg competition raised £135.
Car Boot Sale
Saturday 12th May Oak Site car park, 1-3 p.m. for buyers, admission 20p, or if you wish to sell you may arrive at 12.30 p.m. Cost £5 per car. Only car boot sellers will be allowed on site with cars, but the Acorn site car park will be open for other people wishing to park cars. To reserve a pitch please ring 333405. So come and turn your unwanted items into money OR come and buy everything that you didn't know you needed!
Plant Orders
Don't forget to send your plant orders into school by Monday 30th April please. Orders will then be available for collection from the Acorn site car park on Saturday 19th May between 11.00 a.m. and 12.00 noon.
Inset Day/May Day
School will be closed on Thursday 3rd May for voting and Monday 7th May for May Day. Please note that all children should attend school on Friday 4th May.
Class Photographs
These will be taken on Friday 25th May.
New Arrivals!
I am delighted to tell you that just before Easter Miss Carter had a daughter, Imogen, weighing in at over 9lbs! and in the quad on the Acorn site, our duck has had eight ducklings.
