Staffing News
Miss Davies has now resigned and will not be returning to school. We wish her well in whatever she does next.
Places in school
We are receiving a number of enquiries about places in school for September. If you are considering a house move and your child may be moving to a new school, please can you let Mrs Hall know as soon as possible; so that we know what places will be available.
Induction Evening
The Induction evening for the parents of the children starting in our Reception classes in September will take place this week.
Another Success!
I would like to congratulate four Year 6 pupils – Ellie Woodings, Emily Heyting, Jemma Bryans and Laura Beck for winning the Warwickshire Road Safety Quiz Final last Thursday. There were 108 teams who competed in the county with 40 going through to the final. Each member of the winning team won a small shield and a £20 WH Smith voucher and they brought back an enormous shield and £100 for the school. This is the first time that Paddox has actually won the final.
Algebra Olympics
Good Luck to the Year 6 team who are competing in the Algebra Olympics at Ashlawn School on Friday.
Non Uniform Day
We will be having a non uniform day on Friday 6th July. In return for wearing non uniform we are asking each child to bring in either a bottle, a tin or a gift for the Tombola for the Summer Fair.
School Grounds
A group of students from Ashlawn are coming to work on our school grounds for two days next week to help us to develop them. It is part of their sustainable energy project.
Acorn Car Park
Can I remind parents that you should not park on this car park when you bring your child to school or walk across it with them. Children are not allowed to bring bikes or scooters to school for Health and Safety reasons.
School Photographs
Just a reminder that the final collection day will be this Friday 29th June.
Town School Sports
Unfortunately there will not be a school's final this year.
