This week, we have been writing poems in different styles. We began by writing free verse poems based on the Mayan Gods. We also had fun writing Kennings and Haikus. We worked in small groups to add movement and expression to our poems. Then we performed them to the class.

We have been busy preparing readings and songs for the Christmas carol service on Friday. The children are particularly good at performing the 'Glory Rap!'
