This week Year 2 continued our topic of ‘Flight’ and read the story of ‘The Great Balloon Hullabaloo’. He followed the story of some animals going shopping in Space where they encounter some aliens. We then did some writing about what we thought you’d buy in from a shop on Mars using commas in a list sentences. We also thought about what we thought aliens might look like and then did wrote an information text about them. In Numeracy, we continued to learn to tell the time. We were amazing at telling quarter past, quarter to, half past and o’clock. So this week we have worked hard on understanding hours and minutes and differences of time!
