This week we had a very special visit from the Magistrates who serve in the Coventry and Warwickshire area. The Magistrates workshop was very informative and the children learnt a lot of key facts about the justice system. The children also had the opportunity to ask any questions they had and were very sensible in discussing some important matters. 

At the end of the session, Year 6 were able to take part in a mock courtroom experience and we had Magistrates, Legal Advisers, Ushers, Prosecution Solicitors, Defence Solicitors, Witnesses, Defendants, press reporters and court artists all taking part. The children really enjoyed this court room experience and we had a great day. Thank you to the Magistrates who visited us.
