We have had a super week in Year 1 doing lots of outdoor learning. We started the week by making bird feeders and learning all about common garden birds. Today we got to put our bird feeders out around the school grounds and hopefully we will be getting lots of visitors. We have also made musical instruments out of natural objects, made firework art out of leaves and sticks, created some part, part whole models on the playgound and we made the tallest towers we could using only sticks. The children finished the week by becoming 'twitchers' and going bird spotting around the school site. What a great week it has been!
