On Remembrance Day, Year 5 and 6 went to the church to take part in a Remembrance Day service. We firstly visited the war memorial gates, which were beautifully decorated with poppy wreaths. At the church, we shared the artwork we had created and sang hymns. We also performed the poem 'In Flanders Field', before having two minutes of silence at 11am.

Our service was a lovely and peaceful way to remember and show respect to the brave soldiers who fought in the war.
