Last week, we watched a short video animation entitled 'The Piano'. It is about an old man who plays the piano, triggering flashbacks to moments in his life, such as when he was a young boy and when he fought as a soldier in the war. The children anaylsed the film and read a short story with flashbacks. We also planned our own story which we will be writing this week.

To launch our 'Swinging Sixties' topic, we had a look at some of the famous art work from David Hockney, Andy Warhol and Roy Litchenstein. We discussed and analysed their work.

In music, we have started to learn 'Livin' on a Prayer' by Bon Jovi. This week, we will be adding instruments to accompany it. Keep an eye out for our debut once we have finished rehearsing!
