Over the past few weeks, we have been reading Skellig. We have used the text to help us write various pieces using different genres. 
The last two weeks, we have focussed on play scripts. We started by looking at play scripts thinking about the features that needed to be included and using them to perform scenes from the play. 
Using all that we have learnt, we have written our own play scripts using an event from the story. The children have thought really carefully about the stage directions and the dialogue that is spoken by the characters.
