Today we welcomed an Egyptologist into school to help us to learn more about this period of time.  We had a wonderful day, retrieving information from the time and learnt that the Egyptians worshipped onions!  We also learnt how to decode using hieroglyphics and were able to use these skills to read hidden messages.

A highlight of the day was certainly learning about the process of mummification and watching ‘Jeff’ going through the process.
