In Year 5 this week, firefighters entered the classrooms and the children were treated with some essential safety knowledge. As a group, they discussed and identified various different hazards in a variety of rooms and scenarios. The children were also reminded of the number they could call in emergencies and learnt about the dangers of hoax calls. As a year group, we were extremely impressed with the behaviour and attitude that the children displayed; hopefully they will be able to take all of their learning home with them.
