This week has been very reflective! In our classes we have been able to go onto the stage in the hall to participate in different reflective activities. Some of us wrote poems, others wrote messages, gave thanks, created imaginative pictures or talked about things important to them.

We were also very lucky to have a visitor to Year 2! Rocket, Mrs McBain’s dog. He came to visit Reception, who are learning all about pets, and then popped up to Year 2 to say hello. Some children were able to go and read to Rocket, which both he and they really enjoyed!

In Discover this week we wrote letters to aliens and started to turn them in 3D hot air balloons for a display. We also worked on using contractions (we are > we’re) in our writing correctly.
