Talking animals? Whatever next!

This week in Year 2 we have done our final piece of extended writing. We wrote some very interesting stories all about talking animals. Some of our animals visited the jungle, others wandered the desert and they even got as far as the Antarctic.

On Tuesday we went and spent the day with our new class teachers. Unfortunately we were not in our new classrooms as they haven't yet arrived. However, we loved singing along to Mr Turk's guitar and telling Mrs Ramsey all about ourselves.

Our artwork still has an Escher theme and this week we have been decorating hands again. This time making detailed patterns. We have really enjoyed this and they look fantastic (I am sure you will agree)!

We can't finish this week's blog without mentioning the disco. It was very noisy but an awful lot of fun. We all had a great time and it was the perfect way to celebrate all of the hard work which has been done during another busy year at Paddox.

Quick reminder - Any sponsorship forms for the sponsored read need to be sent in to school on Monday.

Have a wonderful weekend and we will hopefully see you at the summer celebration!
