Year 1 have had a very egg-citing, Easter themed couple of weeks, starting with our class assembly last week. We learnt all about the Easter story and thought about how we celebrate Easter with our families. We also learnt a song and made up some fun actions. We really enjoyed ourselves. Miss Merrick and Miss Sloan were very proud of how well we did and were very impressed with the effort we made with our Easter bonnets, so thank you for your help and support. We hope you enjoyed it if you managed to come and watch.

This week we also went on an Easter experience at the Methodist Church. Whilst we were there, we learnt more about the meaning of Easter and why we celebrate it. We listened to the Easter story and acted out parts of the story in groups.
