On Wednesday, we went on an adventure down to the Hillmorton Locks. It was a long walk, but well worth it because we saw different parts of the canal network. As a group, we were keen to understand how the locks worked and how they helped the barges to travel up and down the canal. When we were walking along the tow-path, we noticed some examples of rose and castle artwork also, which has helped our learning this week as we have been designing our own ready to decorate our wooden spoons!
