A very busy few weeks!

Forest School, Science Days and Tag Rugby

We are fast approaching the end of our first half-term in Year 3 - and what a few weeks it has been!

In Apple class, the children have been busy with Forest School and Life Skills - it turns out that putting a duvet in a duvet cover is harder than we anticipated! We are looking forward to Cherry and Pear's days at Forest School soon.

We have learnt about Jesse Owens and Nelson Mandela as part of Black History Week, with lots of thought-provoking discussions about equality, resilience, and respect.

The children have also experienced a fantastic Science day led by Mrs Barnes, where they looked at different habitats, and went on a tree hunt looking for evergreen and deciduous trees.

If that's not enough excitement, we also took part in a Tag Rugby Festival with primary schools across Warwickshire. The children had a great time, and the weather stayed sunny!
