We conducted an experiment to discover the strength of different magnets. We used a variety of magnets and a ruler to reach our conclusion. The bar magnet was the winner!
This week, we put on our best Scottish accents to learn about how the Stone Age people used to live in a tiny Scottish village called Skara Brae. Not only did they use mammal bones and tusks to make jewellery but they also slept on stone beds. We enjoyed becoming experts on an aspect of their lives and teaching the rest of the group all about it.
In Maths, we continued to gain confidence using addition and subtraction and were able to use our methods to solve word problems. We continued to look at our book 'Ug' and created some conversations between characters using direct speech and inverted commas.
