This week as part of our 'Brilliant Britain' topic we continue to celebrate all things British. On Wednesday we celebrated British Sport by playing Rounders while in the morning we created our own Coat of Arms.

We have looked at a map of the UK and looked to label the counties of the UK and find where key events in British history took place, if you ever get lost, the children will be able to help you find your way home!!

In Literacy, we have continued to enjoy the works of famous British authors. Having already looked at Julia Donaldson and David Walliams, this week we looked at JK Rowling and C.S Lewis and looked to steal ideas about how they use journeys and portals to an imaginary world. We walked round school, trying to find our own hidden portals . . . they all led back to the classroom though where the children did work!!
