Once again, it has been a busy week at Paddox. Year 4 have been working hard and the heat hasn't stopped them from doing their best.

In Literacy, we have been looking at newspaper reports and Year 4 have created their own using the Roman invasion of Britain as their topic. The children chose whether their article supported the Celts or the Romans and decided who won the battle they were reporting about. Some fantastic work was produced, so good infact that Year 4 have sneakily commandeereda display board on which to display their work.

In Numeracy it has been a week of shape, do you know the difference between your equilaterals and isosceles? If not perhaps you can state the properties of paralellograms and kites? Not to worry if you can't, as Year 4 can!

To add some flare to the week, Year 4 were given the chance to visit our local church and spend some time with Reverend Hilary listening to different religious stories.

All in all, a very good week!
