In Beech and Sycamore class today, we were really lucky to have a visit from Thomas Taylor (illustrator or the first Harry Potter book and author of Malamander). He inspired the children by talking through his stimulus for writing and how he created his characters. The children then saw how he could create a character even from a scribble on the board. What another great opportunity for all the children!
