In English, we have started a new book called Skellig. Before introducing the children to the book, we gave them a range of pictures which all linked to the text. The children had to predict what they thought would happen in the book using the images to support their ideas. 
We then read the first line of the book and the children thought about questions they wanted to ask. It was an interesting discussion in all classes and we had some great ideas about what the book may be about! Let's see if they come true!
