Today, Year 5 solved a crime in their introduction to their Crime and Punishment Unit. When entering the classroom, the pupils had to establish who (out of the four culprits) stole the painting. The children were given evidence to analyse such as: finger prints, footprints, witness statements and motives. In the afternoon they were given the opportunity to interview the suspects. Based upon all the evidence, they had to deduce who the thief was.
