This term, our class is split in half - with half doing Food Technology and the other half working on their ICE (Independent, Creative and Engaging) projects. After half-term, we'll swap and do the other lesson!
In Food Technology, we are working on Oriental Cuisine - tasting and cooking food from Japan and France. We're starting off by cooking our Japanese Rice Dishes with Miss Mills. We practised different knife skills to cut different vegetables to put into our Japanese Rice Dish and then we tasted different sauces. Over the course of the half-term we'll be learning how to cook, but unfortunately there won't be enough time for us to be taught how to wash the dishes - that'll have to remain a mum and dad job!
