This week we have started our new topic of Van Gogh! We have enjoyed finding out lots about him and wrote some fun facts. We were particularly interested to find out that he chopped part of his ear off! After looking at Van Gogh's painting of the Sunflowers, we recreated our own sunflowers, first by drawing them and then creating collages out of various materials to create different textures and effects. We have started reading Katie and the Sunflowers and had a go at sequencing the story to describe what has happened so far. We can't wait to find out what happens next...
