Summer Week 4
A week of deep sea diving!
What a lovely week we have had in year 2.
We have begun reading “Dougal’s Deep-Sea Diary” by Simon Bartram. We have thought about the character, text marked and researched the Lost City of Atlantis! We’ve found some very exciting theories and the children have discussed their view on its existence.
In Science we have been learning all about the life cycle of frogs which has been very exciting as we have some frogspawn in the school pond.
In Numeracy this week we have looked at fractions, adding in 10s and telling the time to 5 minutes.
Could we remind you all to bring in water bottles every day with your name on, it’s very important that you are able to stay hydrated throughout the day.
If you have visited the blog this week please could you mention this in your homework book. We’d really like to see how many of you are reading it!
We hope you all have a restful bank holiday weekend and look forward to seeing you all back at school on Tuesday.
