This week we've been on a flight! We watched an important safety film, put on our seat belts and made ourselves comfortable. We flew to a mysterious unknown place full of mountains, waterfalls and volcanoes. We described what it was like to be there using our five senses and then wrote a postcard home all about our journey. 

In Numeracy we've begun to look at column addition using tens and ones. We calculated practically first using base 10 so that we understood how the method worked. Over the next few weeks we will keep practising this and also try the method for subtraction.
