Welcome to Year 2! What a wonderful week it has been!

This week we have been getting used to our new classrooms, cloakroom and exits in and out of school and to playtime! The children have been fantastic, listening carefully and learning where they should be and when.

In literacy we have focused on the story of Jack and the Beanstalk. We looked at story sequencing and setting descriptions. We also made some fantastic art work, silhouette pictures for our classroom windows and pictures of giants. It was very messy, but lots of fun! We have some very artistic children in Year 2 this year J

Next week we will be beginning our Circus topic in Create, which will last up until half term.
