Space Seeds

The space seeds come back to earth!!

Paddox School was lucky enough to be invited to take part in the Royal Horticultural Society-backed experiment to see whether seeds which had been sent into space would grow any differently from seeds which had remained here on Earth. Schools across Britain received their seeds two weeks ago, together with an information pack showing astronaut Tim Peake with the seeds on the space station, so they could all be planted at the same time.

Opinion was divided on whether the trip to the International Space Station would harm or enhance the way the seeds grew and, as we have no way of knowing which seeds are which, we'll just have to wait and see if there is any difference.

If you want to know any more, there is plenty of information on the website
