This term we have been reading "Volcano Adventure" by Willard Price. The children have really enjoyed finding out about the adventures of Dr Dan, an experienced volcanologist, as he explores the awe and wonder of volcanoes. We have been using this story as a basis for our own story writing. Last week, we planned our stories and developed contrasting characters and settings. This week, we are writing our stories using great description. Who knows where their adventures will take us?
